Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Train and supervise production staff, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Develop and optimize production workflows to meet KPIs
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and ISO standards
- Advanced proficiency in production planning and inventory control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid forklift certification and CPR/First Aid training preferred
