Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency targets and quality standards are consistently met
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Train and mentor production staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and quality control procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, defect rates, and production output for continuous optimization
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a zero-incident workplace culture
- Manage inventory control and coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing production with at least 2 years in supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and TPM principles
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Experience implementing automation and continuous improvement projects
