Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities across 3 assembly lines, ensuring targets are met with 99.5% quality accuracy
- Implement Kaizen principles and 5S methodology to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15-20 operators, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, first-pass yield, and safety metrics using SAP and MES systems
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot technical issues with engineering teams
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through material optimization and process innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership with lean certification (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred)
- Expertise in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle) and data-driven decision making
- Strong conflict resolution and team development skills
- OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of safety compliance protocols
- Proven track record of improving productivity by 15%+ through process optimization
