Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets and quality standards are consistently met
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements and new product integration
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing supervision with lean manufacturing certification
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Advanced knowledge of production metrics (OEE, KPIs, Six Sigma methodologies)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/MES systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and experience with safety program implementation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments
