Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3-5 assembly lines with 30+ team members
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste by 15%
- Train and mentor production staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery metrics
- Collaborate with engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Manage inventory control and material flow through ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred)
- Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial automation systems
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Proven track record of improving productivity and reducing downtime
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
