Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 production line staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize production processes
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions
- Monitor KPIs including output rates, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery
- Train and mentor team members on new equipment and procedures
- Coordinate with quality control to resolve product defects and improve yield rates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement tools
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
