Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize workflows
- Train and supervise production staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, yield rates, and on-time delivery metrics
- Manage inventory control and material flow through the production line
- Drive continuous improvement projects targeting cost reduction and quality enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and production planning software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts
