Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 15+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Train and mentor production staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams for continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing supervision or team leadership
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement training
- Proficient in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and quality management systems
- Experience with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949 preferred)
- Proven ability to analyze production data and drive KPI improvements
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
