Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations ensuring targets for output, quality, and safety are met
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of 15+ production technicians
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, first-pass yield, and downtime metrics
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
- Collaborate with engineering on continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing (Six Sigma/5S certification preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with PLC knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
