Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations ensuring targets are met with optimal efficiency
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflows
- Train and supervise 15+ production staff across multiple shifts
- Enforce strict OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance standards
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage inventory control and material flow processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams for continuous process optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years supervisory role
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
