Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations ensuring targets are met with zero safety incidents
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Train and develop production staff through skill-based coaching programs
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery metrics
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment uptime and preventative scheduling
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through 5S and Kaizen methodologies
- Manage inventory control and material flow within production cells
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in manufacturing leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and OSHA compliance standards
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Advanced analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in automotive or heavy machinery manufacturing preferred
