Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3-5 assembly lines, ensuring targets are met with minimal downtime
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency by 15% annually
- Train and mentor 15+ production staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and quality standards
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and develop corrective action plans
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and new technologies
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Manage inventory control systems to maintain optimal material flow
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing supervision
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP or Oracle experience preferred)
- Demonstrated track record of reducing production costs and improving throughput
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment
