Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations of 15+ team members across 3 assembly lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Train and mentor staff on new equipment and quality control protocols
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Manage inventory control and just-in-time delivery systems
- Collaborate with engineering on process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing supervision with automotive background
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making ability
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Experience with CNC machinery and robotic automation
- Proven track record in reducing production costs by 15%+
