Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities ensuring targets are met with zero safety incidents
- Implement and optimize lean manufacturing processes to reduce waste by 15% annually
- Train and supervise 15+ production technicians on equipment operation and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve workflows
- Manage inventory control and material handling systems for JIT production
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop talent retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing supervision with automotive industry experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification required
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP preferred)
- Proven track record of reducing production costs and improving throughput
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making experience
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
