Responsibilities
- Direct and optimize daily manufacturing operations to exceed production targets and quality benchmarks.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste.
- Manage complex production schedules and cross-functional resource allocation for maximum throughput.
- Monitor and report on critical KPIs including OEE, scrap rates, and labor productivity.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and OSHA safety regulations.
- Provide mentorship and professional development to shop floor supervisors and technical staff.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to facilitate seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years in a leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Demonstrated expertise in metal fabrication, precision machining, or automotive assembly.
- Proven track record of driving significant cost reductions and yield improvements.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable operational strategies.
