Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards
- Implement and optimize lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban)
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation to meet deadlines
- Lead continuous improvement projects targeting waste reduction and cost savings
- Coordinate maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing production management experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Proven track record of reducing production costs by 15%+
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Experience in automotive or precision parts manufacturing preferred
