Join our innovative manufacturing team in Detroit as a Production Manager to lead operations, optimize processes, and drive excellence in high-precision component manufacturing. You'll oversee a state-of-the-art facility and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class results.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily production activities to meet quality, safety, and output targets
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation for 3 manufacturing lines
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma)
- Train and mentor production staff on technical and safety protocols
- Oversee equipment maintenance and capital project implementations
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 7+ years in manufacturing leadership with 3+ in production management
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI monitoring and reporting
- OSHA certification and ISO 9001 quality management experience
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Exceptional problem-solving and team leadership abilities
