Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards across all shifts
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase productivity
- Manage production budgets, inventory control, and resource allocation
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and internal safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production bottlenecks
- Mentor and develop production supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 8+ years in manufacturing leadership with 3+ years in production management
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and data-driven decision making
- Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and change management expertise
