Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines to meet exacting specifications.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering schematics to ensure product accuracy.
- Perform routine quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment to maintain ISO 9001 standards.
- Optimize machine offsets and feeds/speeds to reduce cycle times while maintaining tool longevity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with Lean Manufacturing and 5S protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve production bottlenecks and refine manufacturing processes.
- Document production logs and report shift output accurately through our ERP management system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a precision CNC machining environment.
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming; experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is highly preferred.
- Strong background in blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to perform complex setups with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tooling selection, fixturing, and material properties.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical trade school certification is a significant advantage.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
