Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and turning machines.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
- Perform critical quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Proactively troubleshoot machine errors and perform minor preventative maintenance to ensure continuous uptime.
- Document production logs and report throughput metrics to the shift supervisor.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine machining processes and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workstation at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming; Fanuc controller experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) drawings.
- Experience working with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium.
- High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical certification in machining is a major advantage.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Ability to work shifts, including overtime as required by production schedules.
