Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.
- Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM models with high accuracy.
- Perform regular quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and perform minor preventative maintenance to ensure uptime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in adherence to OSHA standards.
- Document production logs and report any deviations to the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in precision machining within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in programming and operating Fanuc or Siemens controllers.
- Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.
