Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC milling and turning centers.
- Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and technical schematics with high accuracy.
- Perform real-time quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and execute minor adjustments to maintain production flow.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tool paths and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Document production logs and report throughput metrics daily.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Trade School certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high-precision CNC machining.
- Proficiency in G-Code programming and CAM software (Mastercam or Fusion 360).
- Strong understanding of metallurgical properties and cutting tool geometry.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
