Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision parts.
- Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD/CAM models, and technical specifications.
- Perform critical quality control inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Execute precise tool offsets and program adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production cycles and troubleshoot mechanical inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Document production logs and report throughput data accurately for inventory management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in CNC machining within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming; experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Certification from an accredited vocational or technical school in Precision Machining.
- Proven track record of working with exotic metals and high-tolerance industrial components.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
