Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Interpret complex blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.
- Perform real-time quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment.
- Execute precise tool offsets and make program adjustments to ensure part accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in accordance with Lean Manufacturing protocols.
- Collaborate with production engineers to troubleshoot machining processes and improve cycle times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in precision machining within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in G-code programming and blueprint reading.
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc or similar CNC control systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational certification preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
