Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC machines (lathes and mills).
- Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
- Perform critical quality inspections using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining errors to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes and fixture designs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with OSHA and ISO standards.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate quality control logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Technical degree or apprenticeship certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high-precision CNC machining.
- Proficiency in G-Code programming and Mastercam software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Proven ability to work with various materials, including stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive, high-stakes tasks accurately.
