Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines.
- Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
- Conduct rigorous quality control inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and cycle times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Document production activities accurately in the internal ERP system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining (Milling or Turning).
- Proficiency in G-code programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Ability to perform complex setups with minimal supervision.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or SolidCAM preferred).
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification in Machine Tool Technology is a plus.
