Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Interpret complex blueprints and CAD models to produce precision-engineered parts.
- Perform real-time quality control checks using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with production engineers to optimize cycle times and reduce material waste.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company production standards.
- Document daily production logs and maintain accurate inventory of raw materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Technical certification in Machining or Tool & Die preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (Mastercam or Fusion 360).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
