Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC milling and turning centers.
- Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T specifications.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Program and troubleshoot G-code and M-code for optimized machine efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine machining processes and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to OSHA and internal safety protocols.
- Document production activities and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in precision CNC machining.
- Proficiency in programming and operating Fanuc or Siemens controls.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or apprenticeship is highly preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or SolidCAM) is a distinct advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
