Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Develop and implement performance management frameworks that drive professional development.
- Lead strategic initiatives regarding compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
- Partner with leadership to foster an inclusive company culture and drive employee engagement.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics to provide actionable insights on retention, turnover, and engagement.
- Manage sensitive employee relations issues with diplomacy and professional discretion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of California labor laws and federal compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or Gusto).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling culture and organizational change management.
