Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels across all channels and execute timely reorders to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales trends and market data to recommend buying strategies that maximize profitability and visual appeal.
- Visual Merchandising Support: Collaborate with the creative team to ensure floor sets and displays align with current fashion trends and brand guidelines.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and distributors to negotiate terms, track shipments, and resolve logistics issues.
- Reporting: Generate and present monthly inventory reports and sales performance summaries to senior management.
- Store Audits: Conduct regular visits to retail locations to verify stock accuracy and compliance with merchandising standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or merchandise planning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in retail ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
