Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop accurate sales forecasts and inventory plans.
- Collaborate with the Buying team to select and plan product assortments that align with brand strategy and seasonal trends.
- Monitor stock levels, plan replenishments, and manage markdowns to optimize gross margin.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Create and present merchandise presentations, performance reports, and business reviews to senior management.
- Lead the execution of seasonal promotional strategies and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
