Luxe & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our dynamic retail team in the heart of London. In this pivotal role, you will support the Buying and Planning departments in optimizing our inventory, identifying market trends, and ensuring our product assortment meets high customer demand.
You will play a key role in driving sales performance through strategic stock placement and visual merchandising initiatives. If you have a keen eye for fashion trends and a knack for numbers, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and manage inventory replenishment processes.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure store layouts and displays maximize product visibility.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and inventory forecasts.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding stock availability and lead times.
- Support the Buying team in sourcing new product lines and negotiating trade terms.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in retail merchandising, buying, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales reports and KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with retail ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of current market trends.
