Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandise plans to align with sales targets and financial goals.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure accurate assortment planning and buy limits.
- Monitor stock turnover rates and manage markdown strategies to minimize excess inventory.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports to track performance against KPIs.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers regarding lead times and product availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail planning, buying, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDA).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer behavior.
