Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Lead the mechanical design of new products and components using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Analysis & Simulation: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to validate design integrity under various operating conditions.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the fabrication of prototypes, manage testing schedules, and analyze data to iterate and improve product designs.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and engineering documentation compliant with ISO and GD&T standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo. Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of GD&T, thermodynamics, and material science.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems.
