Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Conduct feasibility studies and generate detailed technical documentation, including schematics and BOMs.
- Perform simulation and analysis (FEA/CFD) to validate designs and optimize performance under various operating conditions.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing phases, analyzing data to refine designs and ensure product reliability.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Participate in failure analysis investigations to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and engineering analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
