Are you a visionary leader with a passion for ultra-luxury hospitality? Aura Maldives Retreats is seeking a General Manager to define the guest experience at our flagship private island resort. You will oversee operations, curate bespoke guest journeys, and maintain the highest standards of international excellence in one of the world's most sought-after destinations.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across all departments including Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
- Drive financial performance and maintain strict budgetary controls to ensure profitability.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence among a diverse, international team of hospitality professionals.
- Manage owner relations and deliver detailed performance reports to the Board.
- Oversee the maintenance of world-class facilities and sustainable environmental initiatives.
- Develop and implement innovative service strategies to enhance guest satisfaction scores.
- Ensure full compliance with local Maldives regulatory requirements and internal SOPs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years experience in luxury hotel management, with at least 3 years as a GM or Hotel Manager.
- Proven track record of managing five-star resorts, preferably in remote or island locations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor multicultural teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, forecasting, and revenue strategy.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of high-net-worth individual (HNWI) expectations and bespoke service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
