Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Optimize shipping routes and modes, negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
- Utilize advanced logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS) to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate performance reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Manage documentation, customs procedures, and compliance with all relevant international and local regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (sales, procurement, customer service) and external partners to resolve operational issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance analysis, report on key metrics, and proactively address potential bottlenecks or deviations.
- Participate in strategic planning for logistics infrastructure and technology upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or freight forwarding, preferably in a fast-paced international environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
