Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless service.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demands, and make informed decisions for operational adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Drive the adoption of new logistics technologies and systems to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics processes and achieving measurable improvements in efficiency and cost reduction.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, freight forwarding, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
