Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in the CMMS system.
- Ensure full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Manage parts inventory and vendor relationships to minimize downtime.
- Train junior technicians and assist in developing maintenance protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial fleet maintenance.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B is preferred.
- Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Fleetmatics) and electronic diagnostic scanners.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
