Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse and transportation operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Utilize logistics software (WMS/TMS) to track shipments and inventory levels accurately.
- Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
- Resolve any logistical issues or delays, providing rapid solutions to clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
- Proven expertise in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of freight routing, customs regulations, and inventory control.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable performance reports.
