Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve operational metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.
- Implement and leverage logistics technology solutions (e.g., TMS, WMS) to streamline processes and gain competitive advantages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, warehousing, inventory control, and global trade compliance.
- Proficiency with Logistics Management Systems (LMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
