Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end transportation and distribution operations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and domestic carriers to optimize freight costs.
- Implement lean logistics methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of warehouse supervisors and dispatch coordinators.
- Analyze supply chain metrics to forecast demand and mitigate inventory disruptions.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance last-mile delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume logistics or distribution management.
- Expert proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP software (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex logistics data sets.
- Proven track record of managing P&L and optimizing operational budgets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead remote and on-site teams.
- APICS or CSCP certification is highly desirable.
