Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound and outbound freight.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical bottlenecks.
- Analyze shipping data and usage patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, invoices, and compliance paperwork.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation vendors to secure the best service levels and pricing.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and international shipping regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
