Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to diverse client populations.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated client care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, connecting them with appropriate resources.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights, helping them navigate complex social service systems and access essential community resources.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and team meetings to enhance skills and contribute to program improvement.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university program.
- Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting clinical assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing effective treatment plans.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and ethical guidelines for social work practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.
