Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed modalities.
- Deliver immediate crisis intervention and safety planning for high-risk clients.
- Coordinate with external agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and legal entities to build integrated support networks.
- Maintain precise, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in weekly multidisciplinary clinical case reviews and peer supervision sessions.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an CSWE-accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted LCSW license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-degree clinical experience in family therapy or community mental health.
- Strong working knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis de-escalation protocols.
- Excellent crisis management, active listening, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural humility and serving diverse, marginalized populations.
