Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals, families, and groups.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address client needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family psychotherapy, utilizing various clinical modalities.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, external agencies, and community resources to ensure coordinated client care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and contribute to case consultations.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services, demonstrating cultural humility and sensitivity.
- Engage in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary, providing immediate support and referrals.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current, active, and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a community-based, behavioral health, or social services setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of therapeutic interventions and assessment tools.
- Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal mandates pertaining to clinical social work practice.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
