Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to diverse populations experiencing mental health issues, trauma, or life transitions.
- Facilitate client access to community resources, including housing, food assistance, healthcare, and employment services.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, external agencies, and community partners to ensure coordinated and comprehensive client care.
- Advocate on behalf of clients to navigate complex systems and reduce barriers to service access and improved well-being.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Illinois Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a community mental health or social services setting.
- Proven expertise in various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing).
- Strong cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various socioeconomic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and contribute positively to a team environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
