Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (individual, group, family) using modalities like CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused approaches
- Coordinate care with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Facilitate crisis intervention and risk management for vulnerable populations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA and state regulations
- Lead community outreach programs to reduce mental health stigma
- Mentor junior staff and supervise Master's level social work interns
Qualifications
- LCSW licensure in Illinois (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- 3+ years post-MSW experience in direct clinical practice
- Expertise in trauma-informed care and cultural competency
- Strong assessment skills with diverse populations (youth, adults, families)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Certification in crisis intervention or trauma therapy preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license for home visits
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
