Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design process from conceptualization to installation
- Develop client presentations with immersive mood boards and 3D visualizations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
- Integrate sustainable materials and smart home technologies
- Oversee CAD drafting and construction documentation
- Conduct site assessments and coordinate with architects/engineers
- Mentor junior designers through portfolio reviews and skill development
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive interior design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- NCIDQ certification required
- Portfolio demonstrating luxury residential/commercial projects
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and permitting
- Proven client management and business development skills
- Passion for biophilic design and sustainable practices
