Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer
- Conduct power analysis and thermal management for high-reliability systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in electrical engineering
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for integrated system solutions
- Ensure compliance with FAA DO-160 and aerospace industry standards
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation for electrical subsystems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, EMC/EMI compliance, and signal integrity
- Experience with DO-160 environmental testing standards
- Proven leadership in managing electrical engineering projects
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
